About
We help children engage their bodies and minds through fun and educational activities.
Our history
Gifted Hands is managed by owner Rayna Darnell. Rayna has worked with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 18 years of age for over 20 years. Rayna holds an associate in Early Childhood Education as well as countless certificates referring to early childhood education. Ms. Rayna opened Gifted Hands Daycare in July 2014. Gifted Hands was established as a licensed home daycare, caring for up to 12 children with an assistant. It was founded on the principle working and/or student parents should be able to find quality, reliable and affordable child care for working parents.
Our graduates
Children graduate at Gifted Hands Since the establishment of our previous in-home daycare, our love of working with children has driven our commitment for acquiring the education and experience to grow from an in home childcare provider to an established full time child care center. We acquired the accreditation and education to move into a separate facility and transition into being a licensed child care center with a capacity to care for up to 100 children.
Our community
It is the focus of Gifted Hands Daycare to continue to offer support for healthy, happy and well balanced families.
We use fun, research-based, multi-sensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Lively Letters, Open Court for phonics and literacy, Handwriting Without Tears, and Everyday Math. We use Responsive Classroom as the basis for our social and emotional learning curriculum throughout the school.
Health & Safety
Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our centers have strict guidelines for cleanliness and security and we’re proud to be recognized as a health-and-wellness model for child care centers by the Partnership for a Healthier America.
At Gifted Hands Daycare, we make your child’s health and safety our top priority. Our standards are the highest in the industry, meeting or exceeding all local and state guidelines.
